How to Hook a PS-25 to the TV

Sony developed and released the PlayStation 2, a sixth-generation video gaming console, in 2000. The game system featured a number of different titles within numerous genres. Users have to install the PlayStation 2 by plugging it up to their television unit. Players can use a few different methods to complete the installation depending upon what type of TV they have. Once installed, the system will be ready for video game play or viewing movies.

  Plug the power cord and A/V cables in their respective locations in the back of the PlayStation 2.

  Match the A/V cables to the matching color plug-in on the television. The yellow plug is for the video, while the red and white cords are for the television's sound system.

  Plug the PlayStation 2 power cord into a close wall outlet.

  Turn on the television and turn it to the "input" channel.

  Turn on the PlayStation 2 by using the on/off switch on the back of the console.

  Watch the television screen to ensure that the PlayStation logo appears after a few moments.

  Press the open button on the PlayStation 2 to insert a game and begin playing.
