How to Do PSX on the PS3

PSX Discs

  Press the "On" button to power up the PS3. You can also press the "PS" button on the PS3 controller.

  Select your user account and press the "X" button to log in.

  Insert the PSX disc into the PS3 disc slot. If you have the PS3 set to automatically launch any game discs, the game will start automatically. If not, select the "Games" menu, select the PSX game from the menu list and then press the "X" button to launch the game.

PSOne Classic Titles

  Press the "On" button to power up the PS3.

  Select your user account and press the "X" button to log in.

  Select the "PlayStation Network" menu, select "PlayStation Store" from the menu list and then press the "X" button to launch the PlayStation Store.

  Select "Downloadable Games" from the left menu and press the "X" button.

  Select "PSOne Classics" from the left menu and press the "X" button.

  Select the game you wish to purchase and then press the "X" button.

  Select "Purchase" at the bottom of the window and press the "X" button. A purchase confirmation dialog will appear.

  Select "Confirm Purchase" and press the "X" button. The download management window will appear.

  Select the "Download" button next to your PSOne Classic title and press the "X" button. Wait until the download progress completes.

  Press the "Circle" button three times to exit the PlayStation Store. Select "Yes" when the "Exit PlayStation Store?" prompt appears and press the "X" button.

  Select your PSOne Classic title from the "Games" menu and press the "X" button to launch it.
