How to Use Your PS3 Mic on a Cradle

The PS3 headset allows you to converse with other players online and comes with a cradle to recharge it and hold it when it is not in use. Normally, the headset is worn around your ear, but it will also behave as a just a microphone when set up properly. This microphone feature is especially convenient if the headset has run out of batteries and needs to be recharged, or you no longer wish to listen to the distracting chatter of other players. But before using the headset as a microphone, it must be paired with the console.
