How to Redeem M1A1 for 'Call of Duty' on PS3

The M1A1 rifle was available as a pre-order incentive when players ordered "Call of Duty: World at War" from GameStop. Those who pre-ordered the game for PlayStation 3 received a 12-digit code in an email. This code can be redeemed over the PlayStation Network to get the weapon in multiplayer mode as soon as you start the game. Once the code is redeemed, the M1A1 will replace the primary weapon of the default rifleman class. It is no longer possible to obtain new codes to redeem for the M1A1.

Instructions

  Sign into your PlayStation Network account and select the "Account Management" option from the PlayStation 3 menu.

  Select "Redeem Codes" and highlight the first box on the left. Press the "X" button and then type the first four letters of your M1A1 code into the box via the virtual keyboard that appears.

  Press "Start" to confirm the first four letters and then use the same process to enter the next four letters into the second box. Enter the final four letters into the third box, and then press the "Continue" button at the bottom of the screen.

  Follow the onscreen instructions to confirm your redemption of the code and then download the content to your console. The M1A1 will now be the default weapon of the rifleman class in multiplayer mode.
