How to Use the Jetpack in Killzone

In the Icy Incursion level of "Killzone 3," you face off against jetpack-wearing Helghast soldiers. Once you've taken out the first wave of flying enemies, one soldier drops a jetpack that your character, Sev, takes for himself. Your objective is to destroy two Helghast rigs and escape before you're caught in the explosion. You can't climb the rigs on foot, so you'll need to fly to the top with your new jetpack.

Instructions

  Proceed through the Icy Incursion level until you're attacked by flying Helghast enemies. Destroy all the enemies to pick up the jetpack.

  Tap the "L1" button to hover with the jetpack. To fly higher, keep "L1" held down. Release the button to slowly float to the ground.

  Press "X" while in the air for a speed boost. Press and hold the left analog stick in the direction you want to fly.

  Hold down the "R1" button to fire the jetpack's machine gun. The machine gun has unlimited ammo.
- 5
  Stand behind walls, fences and other large objects to take cover from enemy attacks. You can't crouch behind cover while wearing the jetpack.
