Download your preferred game patch and save it to your PC's desktop.
Plug the USB flash drive into the computer.
Go to ̶0;Start̶1; and click ̶0;Computer.̶1; Double-click the USB flash drive icon. If you̵7;re using a flash drive that contains the old patch, delete the patch.
Create a new folder titled ̶0;PATCH̶1; without quotation marks.
Click and drag the new patch to the ̶0;PATCH̶1; folder.
Right-click the patch and rename it ̶0;patch_mp.ff̶1; without quotations.
Disconnect the flash drive from the computer and plug it into the PS3.
Navigate to ̶0;Game̶1; on the XMB menu and launch Comgenie Awesome File Manager.
Scroll to the ̶0;dev_hdd0̶1; option and press the ̶0;X̶1; button.
Scroll to the ̶0;Game̶1; option and press ̶0;X.̶1; You will notice a list of BLUSxxxxx files displayed on the screen.
Select the BLUSxxxxx file that corresponds with the game you want to modify. If you don̵7;t know the specific file number, you can locate it on the spine of game̵7;s original case.
Highlight the ̶0;USRDIR̶1; option and press ̶0;X.̶1;
Select ̶0;dev_usb000̶1; on the left side of the screen and scroll to the patch you transferred to the flash drive. Press ̶0;O̶1; on the PS3 controller and then press the ̶0;Start̶1; button. The new patch will be copied automatically.
