How Do You Get Past the Pink Boards on LittleBigPlanet?

"LittleBigPlanet" is a customizable and cooperative multiplayer game for the Sony PlayStation 3. Its protagonist is a rag doll known as Sackboy. The first level of the game̵7;s third story is called ̶0;The Wedding Reception;̶1; near the end of this level, Sackboy must jump across an array of hanging pink springboards. The behavior of these springboards is somewhat counterintuitive in that after jumping onto one, you must jump again as it rebounds. With each successive rebound, you can jump higher. Understanding how to use the springboards allows you to collect decorations, stickers, keys and other prizes, many of which are accessible only by jumping.

Instructions

  Jump onto the first springboard. Let it sink under your weight and rebound.

  Press and hold the ̶0;X̶1; button so that you jump just as the springboard approaches the highest point of its rebound. Allow Sackboy to fall back onto the springboard. Press and hold ̶0;X̶1; again as the springboard rebounds. Repeat these steps several times to jump to the necessary height. If you jump too soon or too late, the springboard will lose its momentum and you̵7;ll have to start over. Practice this maneuver on a single springboard until you master the tricky timing.

  Jump in place to reach the prize bubble hanging above the center of the first springboard. Once you jump high enough to grab the prize, one more properly timed bounce should be powerful enough to lift you over the right-hand skull decoration and onto the adjacent springboard.

  Jump high enough to collect the prize bubbles, and then leap to the higher of the twin springboards on your right. Collect your prizes and leap to the adjacent springboard, preferably by going over the skull decoration as you did in the previous step.

  Collect the prizes hanging above the remaining springboards, taking care to get the key above the final springboard. When you're finished, jump from the final springboard to the table lit by two candles.
