How to Use Keyboard Shortcuts on a PS3 Controller

Open the Internet Browser on your PS3.

Press the "Start" button on your controller to open a virtual keyboard which allows you to enter a Web address into the browser. Use the left controller stick to select a letter and press the "X" button to insert the letter into the address bar. Enter the entire address, letter by letter. Use the left controller stick to select the virtual keyboard's "Enter" button and press the "X" button to enter the address and open the Web page.

Press the "Select" button to open a list of your bookmarks. To bookmark a page, open the Menu by pressing the button on your controller that is marked with a triangle. Use the left controller stick to select the "File" menu option, then use the left controller stick to select the "Add to Bookmarks" option from the submenu. Press the "X" button to add the Web page to the list of your bookmarks.

Move the cursor around the screen with the left controller stick. Press the directional buttons to quickly move the cursor to a link on the screen. Continue to press the directional button to skip to the next links on the page.

Press the "X" button to open a link. If you want to open the link in a new window, hold down the "X" button until the window opens.

Press the right controller stick to scroll in the direction that you press. To scroll by page hold down the button on your controller marked with a square and press a directional button to scroll in that direction.

Press "L1" to go back a page. Press "R1" button to go forward a page.

Use "L2" and "R2" to navigate through your open windows. Hold down the button marked with a circle "O" to close a window.

Hold down the "X" button and move the left controller stick to select text.

Press the button marked with a triangle to view the menu.

Press "R3" on the controller and push down on the right stick while moving it to zoom or un-zoom in the Internet browser.

Press the button marked with a circle "O" to close the Internet browser.
