Things You'll Need
Instructions
Determine whether or not you want to create a skin that covers the entire PS3 Slim. If you keep your PS3 Slim in a laying position, you can save money by creating a skin that does not cover the bottom portion of the gaming console.
Use a cloth tape measure to measure the skin region and record the dimensions on a sheet of paper.
Launch your preferred graphics software, such as Adobe Photoshop or Corel PaintShop Pro. If you don̵7;t have a graphics program installed on your computer, you can download and install a free program such as GIMP or a trial version of Adobe Photoshop or Corel PaintShop online.
Click the ̶0;File̶1; tab and select ̶0;New.̶1; You will be prompted to select the dimensions for your new, blank canvas. Select the ̶0;Inches̶1; option and enter the dimensions in the ̶0;Width̶1; and ̶0;Height̶1; fields. Click ̶0;OK.̶1;
Design your skin. Depending on your preference, you import digital images saved to your PC, add text, select a background color and use the freehand drawing tools to create a custom design.
Insert the printable, vinyl sheets face down in your printer̵7;s paper tray.
Click the ̶0;File̶1; tab and select ̶0;Print.̶1;
Click the ̶0;Preferences̶1; button in the ̶0;Print̶1; dialog box. Click the ̶0;Paper/Quality̶1; tab and check the box next to the ̶0;Borderless Printing̶1; option. Since the minimum height and width of a PS3 Slim skin is 11.42 x 11.42 inches, your design will require at least four sheets of printable vinyl. Click the ̶0;OK̶1; button to return to the main ̶0;Print̶1; screen.
Click ̶0;Print.̶1; Depending on the size of your skin design, you may be prompted to insert one or more sheets of vinyl paper into your printer.
