How to Install a Normal Web Browser on the PS3

The first several versions of the PlayStation 3 (PS3) console included support for installing Linux-based operating systems. If you want to install a normal Web browser on your PS3, the only way to do so is if you have a Linux operating system installed to it. Unfortunately, Sony removed Linux support from the most recent iteration of the PS3, which is known as the PS3 Slim version. Despite this fact, you can still install Linux and a normal Web browser if you have an older PS3 without firmware update 3.21 installed.
