How to Make a PS3 Controller Vibrate With a Different Controller on My PS3

From within the PlayStation 3 console settings, you have the ability to enable or disable the controller vibration function. Once the setting is enabled, it will take effect on any controller connected to the system. This means you can enable the function for one controller, turn it off, change to another controller, and vibration will be enabled automatically.

  Turn on your PS3 console and a controller. Scroll over to the "Settings" menu in the menu bar.

  Select the ̶0;Settings̶1; menu to open it and then click on ̶0;Accessory Settings.̶1; Scroll down to the ̶0;Controller Vibration Function̶1; setting and click on it.

  Select the ̶0;On̶1; option and press the ̶0;Back̶1; button to return to the main menu.

  Insert the desired game into the disc tray and turn on the controller you want to use for it. Controller vibration will be enabled automatically for that controller as soon as you start the game.
