How to Make a Game Editor for the PS3

The Sony PlayStation 3 has an editor that allows users to create game save files on the PS3's storage drive. However, the system is very limited and only allows the user to delete game files from the PS3. However, there are patches available, including the BLES00683 patch and the PS3 Fast File Tool, that can edit PS3 game files. These patches expand the functionality of PS3 games. Locating and installing these patches takes less than an hour to do.

Instructions

    • 1

Download the BLES00683 patch and the PS3 Fast File Tool from the Media Fire website then select "Run" once the downloads are complete. Use both patches to create the game editor.

    • 2

Locate the game file patch named "patch_mp.ff." Click then drag it into the folder for the PS3 Fast File Tool. Click on the folder. Once it is open, select "Gizmo's FF Tool" to open the game file editor.

    • 3

Edit the desired PS3 game file codes then select "File" and "Save As". Name the file and save it.

    • 4

Select the BLES00683 patch then hit the "Start" button to convert the game file codes to a game editor that can be used for your PS3 game.
