One of the ways the multiplayer in ̶0;Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare̶1; can be enjoyed on the PlayStation 3 is with private game lobbies. In a private game lobby, friends can get together and play standard multiplayer modes without the intrusion of other random players. As the host of a private game lobby for ̶0;Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare,̶1; you can go through your friends list and invite any players you want.

Instructions

  Load the ̶0;Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare̶1; game disc on your PS3 console and press the ̶0;Start̶1; button when prompted to enter the main menu.

  Scroll to the bottom of the menu to ̶0;Multiplayer̶1; and click on it. Select ̶0;Online̶1; from the Multiplayer menu.

  Choose the ̶0;Private Match̶1; option from the Online menu and then select ̶0;Invite Friends.̶1; Select the friends you want to send lobby invitations to.

  Select ̶0;Game Options̶1; to modify your match type, map and other options and then click ̶0;Start Match.̶1; Your ̶0;Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare̶1; game lobby will now begin the match.
