How to Hook Up Your PS3 Controller for MapleStory

Using Windows 7 32-bit PC

  Download the SIXAXIS driver (dl.qj.net/playstation-3/tools-and-utilities/sixaxis-driver-for-pc.html).

  Unpack the 11679_Sixaxis_PS3_Win32_Driver_For_PC.rar file. The libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.10.1.exe and ps3sixaxis_en.exe files will be extracted to your PC.

  Run the libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.10.1.exe file. After installing the file, run the ps3sixaxis_en.exe file.

  Connect your PS3 controller to your computer and press the ̶0;PS̶1; button.

  Go to ̶0;Start̶1; and open the ̶0;Control Panel.̶1; Click the ̶0;View devices and printers̶1; link, located in the Hardware and Sound section. Your PS3 controller will be listed in the Devices pane at top of the screen.

  Right-click the PlayStation 3 controller icon and select the ̶0;Game controller settings̶1; option. Click the ̶0;Properties̶1; button in the Game Controllers window. Your PS3 controller should be working properly and you will be able to test each button̵7;s function.

Using Windows 7 62-bit PC

  Download the PS3 controller driver (motioninjoy.com/download).

  Install the MotioninJoy_060004_amd64_signed.zip file.

  Double-click the ̶0;DS3 Tool̶1; icon on your desktop.

  Connect your PS3 controller to your computer.

  Click the ̶0;Driver Manager̶1; link at the top of the screen. Select the driver in the Hardware Location field and click the ̶0;Load Driver̶1; button. When the process is complete, the ̶0;Install MotioninJoy Driver Successfully̶1; message will appear at the bottom of the screen.

  Click the ̶0;Profiles̶1; link, and then click the ̶0;Game Controller Panel̶1; button. The ̶0;Game Controllers̶1; dialog box will appear.

  Click the ̶0;Properties̶1; button. The ̶0;MotioninJoy Virtual Game Controller̶1; window will appear and you will be able to test each button on your PS3 controller. After testing the controller, click ̶0;OK.̶1;
