How to Hook My PS3 to an Old Plasma TV Wirelessly

You can hook up your PS3 to send the audio and video from the console wirelessly to your old Plasma TV's inputs. Use a set of audio/video transmitters and receivers provide your PS3 with the capability to hook up wirelessly to other displays.

Things You'll Need

  • PS3 AV Cable
  • AV transmitter receiver
  • RCA composite cables

Instructions

    • 1

      Plug the AV multi-cable into the "Multi AV" port on the rear of the PS3.

      Insert the other end of the multi-cable into the "Video + Audio IN" jacks on the rear of the AV transmitter.

      Plug one end of the RCA composite cables into the "Video + Audio IN" jacks on the input panel of the Plasma TV. Insert the other end of the cables into the "Video + Audio OUT" jacks on the AV receiver. Turn on the PS3 and the TV as well as the AV transmitter and receiver. Press the "Input" button on your TV until the image from the PS3 appears on the screen.
