How to Improve FTP Speeds From PS3 to PC

File Transfer Protocol clients are used to quickly send and receive large files from one computer to another. Using an FTP client to transfer files between your computer and PS3 often makes for a speedier transfer process. You can improve FTP speeds from a PS3 to a PC by bypassing your router and connecting the PS3 directly to the PC. This will allow you to take advantage of LAN speeds, which tend to be much higher than Internet connection speeds, for FTP transfers.

Things You'll Need
