How to Add Game Mods to the PS3

Generally, mods are not available on home console systems, such as the PlayStation 3. "Unreal Tournament 3," a first-person shooter game, allows a user to transfer a mod from a computer to a PlayStation 3 and use it with the PS3 version of the game.

      Copy all of the mod files on your computer to a USB drive.

      Insert the USB drive into the first USB slot on your PlayStation 3.

      Launch "Unreal Tournament 3" on your PS3.

      Select "Community," located in the "Unreal Tournament 3" main menu. Open "My Content."

      Press the "Square" button on your PS3 controller.

      Select your USB drive from the list of devices.

      Select "Yes." The mod is automatically transferred from your USB device to the PS3.

      Select "Instant Action" from the main menu to play your "Unreal Tournament 3" mod. The mod appears in the appropriate section. For example, if you are adding a mutator, it is available to select under the "Mutators" section, and a map is shown under the Map list.
