Instructions
Turn on the PS3.
Consult your Bluetooth microphone̵7;s user guide to obtain the pass key for the device. The default pass key for many PS3-compatible Bluetooth microphones is often ̶0;0000.̶1; The device̵7;s default pass key generally cannot be changed.
Place the Bluetooth microphone in pairing mode. Refer to the device̵7;s user guide if you are unsure how to do this. The process varies depending upon the brand and model of the Bluetooth microphone you are using.
Navigate to ̶0;Settings,̶1; ̶0;Accessory Settings,̶1; then ̶0;Manage Bluetooth Devices̶1; in the PS3 XrossMediaBar.
Select ̶0;Yes̶1; when prompted to register a Bluetooth device with the PS3. Select ̶0;Start Scanning.̶1; The PS3 will conduct a scan for all active Bluetooth devices within range.
Select your Bluetooth microphone from the list when prompted to select the device you want to register. You will be asked to enter the device̵7;s pass key.
Press the "X" button on your controller to bring up the onscreen keypad. Enter the device̵7;s pass key. Select ̶0;OK.̶1; The microphone is now paired with the PS3.
Navigate to ̶0;Settings,̶1; Accessory Settings,̶1; then ̶0;Audio Device Settings̶1; in the PS3̵7;s XrossMediaBar. Set the ̶0;Input Device̶1; to your Bluetooth microphone. You can now use your microphone with the PS3.
