How to Install a PSN Game

The Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) comes with everything you need for downloading, installing and playing games from the PlayStation Network (PSN). The first thing you must do is create a free PSN account, then you can access it directly from your PS3 and start downloading games. Some games require purchasing and others are free. You must have plenty of hard drive space left on your PS3 before downloading a game. New PS3 systems come with over 200 gigabytes of storage space.

     Press the power button on your PS3.

     Select your login account and press "X" on the controller.

     Press "X" after navigating to the PSN on your PS3.

     Select a game that you want to download. Pay for the game if required and begin downloading. The game will install automatically once the download is complete.
