How to Make Room on an SNES9x PS3

SNES9x is a computer program that brings the fun and retro gaming of the Super Nintendo to many different devices. One of those devices is the Sony PlayStation 3. SNES9x is only a few megabytes in size so it should have no problems running on the PS3 after installing. If you are presented with a "not enough space" dialog from the PS3 when installing SNES9x, you need to free up some space from the PS3 menu.

Instructions

    • 1

Use the Sony PS3 controller to move left, right, up and down through the PS3 menu. Highlight the "Game" tab to see all of your installed games and applications.

    • 2

Move down through the list of installed games and applications and locate one that you either do not use or play anymore, or the game or application you can most live without.

    • 3

Press the "Triangle" button with the game or application highlighted on and a PS3 context menu comes up.

    • 4

Select "Delete" from the context menu. A second menu appears asking you to make sure you want to delete/uninstall the data. Select "Yes" and the game/application is deleted. This will make enough room for SNES9x to run properly as it has a very small data footprint.
