Check the HDMI cable connections to both the PS3 and the TV, to make sure the cable isn̵7;t loose.
Change the video input setting on your TV to match the HDMI connection. For instance, if the input on your TV where the PS3 HDMI cable is connected says ̶0;HDMI 2,̶1; change the TV setting to the ̶0;HDMI 2̶1; input.
Turn off the PS3, if it is still on. Once the power is off, press the PS3 power button for 5 seconds to reset the video and audio settings. If done correctly, there will be a short beep. The PS3 screen will start up on your TV.
Click ̶0;Settings,̶1;̶0;Display Settings̶1; then ̶0;Video Output Settings.̶1;
Choose the HDMI option from the list, and then select the video resolution that matches your TV's capabilities -- such as 1080p, 1080i, 720p or 480p. Most times, the PS3 will automatically detect your TV̵7;s best resolution setting. Check your TV manual for more information about its resolution capabilities.
Navigate the PS3 menu to ̶0;Settings,̶1; ̶0;Sound Settings̶1; then ̶0;Audio Output Settings.̶1;
Choose ̶0;HDMI̶1; from the list. Choose the audio output format from the list that matches your TV and sound system. If you are not sure what settings to choose, choose ̶0;Automatic.̶1;
