Instructions
Turn on the PS3 and press your the "PS" button on your controller to access the system's main menu.
Scroll to the "Settings" section. Options appear below.
Scroll down and select "Network Settings." Options appear to the right.
Select "Internet Connection Settings" from the Network Settings menu. A prompt opens informing you that choosing this action disconnects the console from any active Internet connection.
Select "Yes." A prompt appears asking you to choose a connection method.
Choose "Easy." A "Please Wait" message appears as the system checks your network configuration. A few seconds later, two connection methods appear.
Choose "Wireless." Wireless connection options appear.
Choose "Scan." Your PS3 scans for wireless connections.
Choose the wireless connection you want to connect to from the results page.
Press "X" twice to confirm the PS3's selection for password and security options. A prompt appears asking for the connection's password.
Enter the password. A "Checking Network Configuration" message appears. A few seconds later, a summary of your settings appears.
Confirm the results and choose "Test Connection." The console tests the connection and connects to the wireless network. The console automatically connects to this wireless network every time you sign in to your PlayStation Network account.
