How to Hook Up My PS3 to My Computer's Media Servers

The PlayStation 3 supports a large variety of media formats, ranging from MP3 to DivX. Using Windows Media Player, videos, music and photos can be streamed from your computer to the PS3. The PS3 is a DLNA (Media Server) device, allowing it to connect to other DLNA-compatible devices such as your computer via a wired or wireless network connection. An Internet connection is not required to use the Media Server feature. By default, the Media Server feature is disable and must be enabled before setting up Windows Media Player.
