If you have a wireless router, you can connect your Playstation 3 to the PSN by setting up your wireless router details on to the PS3. If your router has a static IP address, you will need to insert the IP address of your router manually when setting up the wifi.

    • 2

Select "Internet Connection" and then choose "Wireless."

    • 3

Select "Custom" from the list of options. Select "Auto Detect." Select "Manual" for "Address Settings."

    • 4

Enter the IP address for your router and then click on the "OK" button.

    • 5

Select "Manual" on "DNS Settings" and enter your primary and secondary DNS Servers. Your IP address will now be set up to connect your router to the Playstation Network.
