How to Get a Stuck Movie Out of PS3

PlayStation 3 plays PS3 games in addition to DVD movies and Blu-ray movies. The bad thing about it playing movies and games is that there are twice the chances of disks getting stuck when something goes wrong. When the PlayStation malfunctions, often the eject function does not get executed upon command or when it shuts itself down. This can result in your favorite movie becoming stuck inside of the console. Even worse, it could be a rental movie that needs to be returned. There is a simple trick that will have your PlayStation 3 spitting your disk out in no time.

Instructions

Check to see that the power on your PlayStation 3 is turned off. If it is not, turn it off.

    • 2

Move the PlayStation 3, out so you can access the back and front of the console at the same time.
