Plug the USB memory drive into the USB port on your computer. The folder for the USB drive will appear on your computer desktop.
Download the FTP Blackbox file package on to your computer, then drag-and-drop the Blackbox file into the USB drive folder.
Unplug the USB drive from your computer, then plug the drive into the first USB port on your PS3 gaming console.
Scroll to the ̶0;Install Package Files̶1; option in the XMB menu, then press the ̶0;X̶1; button on your controller. The FTP Blackbox file will then automatically install itself on to your PS3 system.
Select the FTP Blackbox option from the Main menu, then press the ̶0;X̶1; button on your controller. You will see the IP address of your PS3 appear on the main screen of Blackbox.
Double-click your FTP application (for example, Filezilla) on your computer, then enter the IP address into the ̶0;Host̶1; box in the top menu bar. Enter ̶0;FTPD12345̶1; in the username, then enter whatever password you desire in the password box. Click the ̶0;OK̶1; button. This will set up the FTP connection between your computer and your PS3.
Select the Gaia Manager option by pressing the ̶0;X̶1; button on your game controller.
Scroll to the ̶0;FTP̶1; option in the Gaia menu, then select the desired files that you wish to transfer to, or from, your PS3 and select the ̶0;Transfer̶1; button.
