How to Hook Up a Dell 1907FPT to a PS3

The PlayStation 3 (PS3) can output video using an high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) cable, composite cables or component cables. The Dell 1907FPT monitor has a 15-pin VGA connector and a digital visual interface (DVI) port. You can connect the video from the PS3 to the Dell monitor using an HDMI-to-DVI cable. Once that is done, you must change the settings on the PS3 to output video over HDMI.
