Error code 80710102 is a common error that affects users of the PlayStation 3 gaming console. This code denotes a problem connecting to the DNS server of your Internet service provider and will prevent you from connecting your PS3 to the Internet, meaning you cannot play games online, access the PlayStation Store or browse the Internet on your console. This problem can be resolved by manually changing the DNS server that the console connects to.

Instructions

      Scroll to the ̶0;Settings̶1; tab on your PS3 and select ̶0;Network Settings.̶1;

      Select the ̶0;Internet Connection Settings̶1; option.

      If you are connected to your modem via an Ethernet, choose the ̶0;Auto-Detect̶1; option. If you connect wirelessly, choose the ̶0;Wireless̶1; option, select your network and enter your password.

      Enter 208.67.222.222 as your Primary DNS.
