How to Make Smileys on a PS3

Sony̵7;s PlayStation 3 (PS3) offers users the ability to chat online with friends and send messages to other players. You can use emoticons when chatting online to display emotion. If you are chatting or messaging a friend and would like to send them a smiley face in the message, you can create a smiley face with your PS3̵7;s keyboard.

Instructions

      Find the symbol button on bottom left side of the on-screen keyboard. The symbol button displays a number sign (#) and an emoticon of a smile face ( :) ).

      Select the symbol button to bring up the different symbols and emoticons in replace of the letters and numbers on the keyboard.

      Scroll over to the emoticon smile face that you would like to use and then select it.
