How to Connect to Hulu Plus With the PS3

The Sony PlayStation 3 can do many more things than simply play video games. Its built-in Blu-ray player allows the console to play HD movies while its Internet connectivity allows for access to video and media streaming. One of the video streaming applications that you can connect to is Hulu Plus, the premium subscription service of Hulu. The Hulu Plus application can be downloaded for free from the PlayStation Store.

Instructions

  Scroll to the ̶0;PlayStation Network̶1; tab on your PS3 and select the ̶0;PlayStation Store̶1; icon. You will need to sign in to your PlayStation Network account before you can access the store. If you do not have a PlayStation Network account, select ̶0;Create Account̶1; to create your free account.

  Scroll down and select ̶0;Media & Apps̶1; from the PlayStation Store menu.

  Select the ̶0;Apps̶1; icon.

  Select ̶0;Hulu Plus̶1; and choose ̶0;Download̶1; to download the application.

  Press the PlayStation button on the controller and select ̶0;Yes̶1; to exit the PlayStation Store.

  Scroll to the ̶0;Game̶1; tab on your PS3 and select the ̶0;Hulu Plus̶1; bubble icon to install the application.

  Scroll to the ̶0;TV/Video Services̶1; tab on your PS3 and select the ̶0;Hulu Plus̶1; icon to launch the application.

  Log in to your Hulu Plus account or select ̶0;Sign Up̶1; to create a new one.
