How to Beat ONI on Little Big Planet

"LittleBigPlanet" is a 2D platformer released on the PlayStation 3 in 2008. You play "Sackboy," who must negotiate different levels in order to win the game. One of these is "Terrible Oni's Volcano," which culminates in a fight with Oni, who wields a large kitchen knife and is able to spit out fireballs at our hero. You have an ally in the shape of the "Cat" who hovers at the top of the screen.

Instructions

  Run to the right when the boss fight with Oni begins.

  Avoid being hit by Oni's kitchen knife as you jump up along the wooden platform.

  Move up to the right side of the stone platform and wait for Oni to stop spewing out fireballs.

  Run to the left across the stone platform to the lever at the end. Pull the lever; this will move the cat to move slightly to the right toward Oni.

  Run back to the right edge of the stone platform and let Oni spew out more fireballs.
- 6
  Repeat the process in Steps 4 and 5 to move the cat until it destroys Oni; always ensure that Oni has finished spitting out fireballs before you make the run for the lever.
