How to Turn the Pipboy 3000A Light Off in Fallout 3 GOTY for the PS3

"Fallout 3" is a roleplaying game developed by Bethesda Softworks and released in 2008. The game requires you to work your way through a radiated Washington, D.C., as you complete quests, collect weapons and raise your character's stats. The Pipboy 3000A is an electronic device that your character wears on his wrist throughout the game. It allows you to view your map, see your current quests and equip your items. It also allows you to turn on a light that will help you see in darkened areas. Once you have made it out of the darkness, you can easily turn the light off again.

     Use the left analog stick to navigate your way through a darkened area until you reach an area where you no longer need the Pipboy 3000A's light to be able to see your surroundings.

     Locate the button on your controller mapped to the Pipboy 3000A. On the PlayStation 3, this will be the "Circle" button.

   • 3

     Press the "Circle" button and hold it down for about three seconds. This will cause the Pipboy's light to switch off.
