How to Charge a PS3 Controller Without a Cord

The PS3 controller is a wireless controller that allows you to play games without having to be tethered to the game console. However, the battery on your controller will run low after a while, meaning the controller will stop working. If you lose the wire that comes with your PS3 controller you can still charge the PS3 controller without it. However, to do this you will need to purchase a charging stand. This allows you to charge multiple controllers at once.

  Purchase a PS3 controller charging stand from an online gaming retailer or a local store.

  Remove the charging stand from its packing and plug it in to the nearest electrical outlet. Plug the power adapter cable into the back of your charging stand.

  Locate the port on your PS3 controller. You will find it at the very top of the controller.

  Locate the same shaped port on your PS3 controller charging stand.
- 5
  Connect the port on your PS3 controller into the one on your PS3 charging stand. Leave the controller until it is fully charged.
