How to Get a Hovercraft on Far Cry

One of the many vehicles that you can pilot in the video game "Far Cry" is a hovercraft. Similar to the way hovercrafts are depicted in popular fiction, this vehicle allows you to fly quickly over the battlefield on your quest to kill more enemies. If you've got your heart set on piloting a hovercraft, you can pick one up in a few different locations throughout the game.

Instructions

  Steal a hovercraft from the "Camp" level. The objective of this particular level is to steal any vehicle that you can and escape from the camp unharmed. Many different vehicles populate the camp -- including a hovercraft. Run up to the hovercraft and press the "F" key on your keyboard to get in. You can then pilot the vehicle out of the camp and onto the next level.

  Get into the hovercraft in the "Mercenary Base" level. As with the "Camp" level, the "Mercenary Base" level features a number of different vehicles in various locations. Though the main objective of the level is to find a computer terminal and carry on with the story, you can still pilot the hovercraft located outside the base should you see fit.

  Use a hovercraft during an online game. The hovercraft is an available vehicle in all three of the game's online multiplayer modes -- "Deathmatch," "Team Deathmatch" and "Assault." Run up to the hovercraft at any point during a multiplayer game and press "F" to get in. Note that you will have to avoid enemy gunfire to survive long enough to reach the hovercraft during online play.
