Instructions
Press the power button on the front of the PlayStation 3 and flip the power switch on the back of the PS3 to the "Off" position. Unplug the PS3's AC adapter from the electrical outlet.
Unplug the DSL modem's power cable from its power supply and press the power button on the front of the PS3. Insert the blue Ethernet cable into the port marked "Ethernet" on the back of your computer.
Plug the other end of the cable into the PlayStation 3's "LAN" port and insert the power cable into the PS3. Plug the power cable into the AT&T modem and wait for the DSL modem to be on for two minutes before powering on the PS3.
Plug the AC power adapter into the electrical outlet and plug the power cable into the AT&T DSL modem. Flip on the PS3's power switch on the back of the game console.
Press "PS" on the game controller and wait for the PS3 to beep which indicates it is powered on and ready to browse the Internet.
Click the directional pad to highlight "Settings" and press "Down" to select "Network Settings." Press "X" on the controller and scroll down with the directional pad and press "X" over "Internet Connection." Press "Right" on the directional pad and to switch it to "Enabled."
Press "Down" to select "Internet Connection Settings" and press "X" on the controller. Highlight "Enter" and press "X." Highlight "Easy" and press "X" for an easy Internet connection setup process. Press "X" to confirm and save the settings.
Press "X" to test the connection.
