How to Install a List of Themes in PS3 Slim

Sony PS3 Slim themes can be used on both versions of the PS3. You can download a large list of PS3 themes from the Internet. You can install the themes quickly because Sony has made side loading PS3 themes possible with the use of external storage devices.

  Download the PS3 theme of your choice. Insert a USB pen drive into your computer's USB port.

  Create "PS3" folder on the pen drive. Create a "THEME" folder inside of the "PS3" folder. Save the PS3 themes inside of the "THEME" folder.

  Insert the pen drive into the PS3's USB port and select the "Theme Settings" option from the PS3 main menu.

  Select "Theme" from the next screen. Select "Install" and select the pen drive from the next window. Select the theme you want to install and press the "X" button. It is installed. Installation takes about five seconds.

  Select install again and select the next theme in the list. Continue on until you have installed all of the themes in the list. Select the theme you want to apply from the main "Theme" window and select "Apply" to use it.
