How to Take a Disc Out of a Broken PS3

The PlayStation 3 is a Blue-ray player that allows you to play a number of video games. If your PlayStation 3 stops working and no longer turns on at all, it can cause any disc left within the disc tray to become stuck. However, if the disc has become stuck, you do not need to take the PlayStation 3 apart to get it out of the console.

Instructions

      Reach round behind your PlayStation 3 and turn the power switch on the back of the console to the "OFF" position.

      Place your finger over the eject sensor on the front on your PlayStation 3 so that your finger entirely covers the sensor.

      Turn the power switch on the back of the PlayStation 3 to the "On" position while still keeping your finger over the eject sensor. This will start the PS3 fan cycle.

      Keep pressing the eject button while the fan cycle is in operation. This will eject the disc from your broken PS3.
