"Dead Space" is a mind-bending, science fiction-based survival horror game developed by Electronic Arts and released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. Isaac Clarke, controlled by the player, is an engineer who must fight his way through a mining starship after finding himself face to face with the hostile, reanimated corpses of the ship's former crew, now in the form of Necromorphs. The game offers the choice of three difficulty levels to begin with, "Easy," "Medium" and "Hard," and completing the game on any of these levels allows the player to replay through on a new difficulty titled "Impossible."

Save and restart the game after beating the game the first time on any difficulty.

Select "New Game" from the main menu rather than the normal "Load Game" selection.

Select one of the four difficulty levels offered: "Easy," "Medium," "Hard" or the newly unlocked "Impossible."

Change the brightness level of your new game, select "Ok" and proceed to commence battling the Necromorphs of the Ishimura.
