How to Change the Points in COD 7

When you play games online in "Call of Duty: Black Ops" for the PlayStation 3, you get a series of points at the end of every successfully completed match. These points are a type of virtual currency that can be exchanged for new weapons, equipment, perks and even add-ons for existing weapons. You just have to change these points into whatever you want to purchase in a specially designed screen within the multiplayer mode.

Instructions

  Insert "Call of Duty: Black Ops" into your console. The PS3 will automatically load the "Black Ops" main menu.

  Select "Multiplayer."

  Select "PlayStation Network." Choose the difficulty setting you want to use when you play "Call of Duty" online. You can choose between "Barebones," "Core," "Hardcore" and "Prestige." "Prestige" is available only if you have ranked up to a "prestige" level during previous online games.

  Select "Create a Class." Highlight a class on screen that you want to change and press "X" to select it.

  Select the category of weapon you want to change. You can choose between your primary weapon, your secondary weapon, equipment and perks. Highlight the name of a piece of equipment you want to exchange for your "COD" points. The point value of the item in question is listed next to the item's name. Press "X" on the controller to change your "COD" points into that weapon or item. Press "X" again to select that item for your class.
