Sony is a worldwide manufacturer of electronics such as HD TVs, surround sound stereos, laptops and video game hardware. The Sony PS3 with 60 GB of hard drive space plays a wide variety of games and allows users to watch Blu-ray discs and download movies and games. The 60 GB version also offered backwards compatibility with PlayStation and PS2 games, a feature that was discontinued in later models.

The wireless controller packaged with the PS3 weighs 4.8 ounces and has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
