How to Get All of the Characters in Mercenaries

"Mercenaries" is a special mode designed to extend the longevity of the game "Resident Evil 5." When you finish the game's main story mode you can jump into "Mercenaries" and kill zombies unencumbered by things like plot. You can play as a number of different characters from the game in this special mode, but in order to do so you have to unlock them all in the various levels of the "Mercenaries" portion of the game.

Instructions

  Play through "The Village" and "Experimental Factory" levels and achieve a ranking of "A" to unlock both outfits for the character Chris Redfield in "Mercenaries." Your ranking in a level depends on your shot accuracy and how many bonuses you find. Take your time and shoot zombies as accurately as possible. Search all parts of each level for hidden prizes. Use your knife to break open boxes to find hidden treasures.

  Play through the levels "Ship Dock" and "Public Assembly" and receive a ranking of "A" to unlock both outfits for the character of Jill in "Mercenaries." As with the previous levels, achieving an "A" ranking always requires you to take your time, line up your shots and make sure you are killing zombies in the most efficient way possible while conserving ammunition.

  Play through the "Ancient Ruins" and "Missile Area" levels with an "A" rank to unlock both outfits for the character Sheva in "Mercenaries." Completing each level unlocks one character costume to be used during "Mercenaries."

  Play through "The Mines" and "The Prison" levels and obtain an "A" rank to unlock both outfits for the character Wesker. If you complete a level with less than an "A" ranking, play through it again until you achieve the ranking you need.
