How to Make a 10 Prestige Lobby on PS3

As you continue to play "Call of Duty: Black Ops" online on the PlayStation 3, your character "levels up" much the same way you do in a role-playing game. You level up using points that are earned by calling in killstreak rewards and gunning down your enemies. Once you reach level 50, you begin to level up into a series of "Prestige" levels. You can create a level 10 "Prestige" lobby on your PlayStation 3 using the game's "Multiplayer" menu.

  Load "Call of Duty: Black Ops" and select "Multiplayer."

  Select "PlayStation Network" if you want to set up your lobby over an Internet connection. Select "Local" if you want to set up your lobby using only your console or between consoles in the same location.

  Select "Split Screen" or "LAN" (if you selected "Local"). Select "Private Match" (if you selected "PlayStation Network"). This creates the 10 "Prestige" lobby, which displays on screen. Use the menu options to adjust the settings of the game you are about to play. For example, select "Change Map" to change the map you will play on or select "Change Game Mode" to select a new mode of play.

  Select "Start Game" to start the game once other people have joined your lobby.
