Steps on How to Put Saves on SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 for the PS3

Now that home video game consoles are connected to the Internet, the act of trading game saves over Web sites has become common place. If you don't feel like beating a game and unlocking all of its stages or characters yourself, you can download the saved game of someone who has already done it. If you want to import a saved game that you've downloaded into your copy of "SmackDown vs. Raw 2008," you can do so using a flash drive.

  Insert your USB flash drive into your computer. Open the flash drive's icon in the "Computer" menu (accessible by clicking "Start"). Drag the game save you downloaded for "SmackDown vs. Raw 2008" into this folder to copy it to the flash drive. If you have not yet downloaded the game save you want, save files can be obtained from sites like GameSpy.com, IGN.com and GameFAQs.com.

  Remove the flash drive from your computer.

  Plug the flash drive into your PlayStation 3.

  Select "Game" from the menu. Select the icon for your flash drive.

  Highlight the "SmackDown vs. Raw 2008" game save file from the list of files on screen. Press "Triangle" and select "Copy." This will copy the game save file to your PlayStation 3 hard drive. The game save file will be accessible the next time you play "SmackDown vs. Raw 2008" by selecting the "Load" option from that game's main menu.
