How to Fix Network Problems on Call of Duty 3 on the PS3

"Call of Duty 3" is a military game developed by Treyarch and released in 2006. The game requires you to work through a range of single-player and online missions. Multi-player games involve you competing against other players in a 24-player battle. If the PlayStation Network on your PS3 is set to moderate or strict, it can be difficult for you to connect to an online game. There are also settings you can change on your router to improve network performance.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on your PC. Click on the "Start" button and select "All Programs."

    • 2

Click on "Accessories" and select the "Command Prompt" program. Type "ipconfig" into the text box at the bottom of the Command Prompt program and press "Enter" on your keyboard.

    • 3

Search through the list of system results and make a note of your "Default Gateway."

    • 4

Open up an Internet browser and type the Default Gateway into the address bar. Enter the username and password at the router login screen. Most routers will have both password and username as "admin."

    • 5

Select the "Advanced Settings" or "Advanced Network." Tick the box next to "Enable UPnP" and click on the "Save" button. Reset your router. Wait 30 seconds and then turn on your PS3. This will fix the network problem on your PS3.
