How to Use a PS3 for Backup Storage

Although problems such as viruses and hard drive crashes can wipe out your hard drive of all stored files and programs, creating a backup can protect all your personal digital belongings. With the Java PS3 Media Server program, you can sync up your personal computer with your PlayStation 3 console to create a backup on your PS3. Not only does the Java PS3 Media Server make the backup process easier and faster, it converts media files to a format that your PS3 console can understand.
