How to Beat Fang's Summon on Final Fantasy XIII

Oerba Yun Fang is a playable character in the "Final Fantasy XII" game that has a difficult to defeat summon battle called "Bahamut." Summon battles involves a monster summoning itself from a player and fighting the enemies. Beating Bahamut requires a careful balance between all your characters and managing their health and attacks. You have to take advantage of Bahamut's weaknesses as well as your strengths.

Instructions

- 1
  Attack Bahamut with "Libra." This spell will reveal information about Bahamut's weaknesses. Continue to attack him with "Libra" until all of these notes have been revealed.

  Read and understand all of the weaknesses. For example, Bahamut will be injured by chain combos that feature Fang. He will also be injured if Fang is defending against physical attacks or sabotaging her enemies. Injuries fill the "acquisition gauge." Once it's filled, you have defeated Bahamut.

  Create chain combos that place Fang in the role of "commando," "ravager," "sentinel" or "saboteur." Fang must be present in all attack combos or Bahamut won't be injured by any of the attacks and the acquisition gauge won't fill.

  Select roles in the attack chain for your other characters that support Fang's role. For example, if Fang is defending against physical attack, send players to attack Bahamut. Their attacks will now cause the acquisition gauge to fill up.

  Continue attacking Bahamut using Fang. Heal your players when necessary until you have completely filled Bahamut's acquisition gauge.
