How to Leave the Sims Town on the PS3

"The Sims 3" is a life simulation game originally exclusive to the PC. However, a year after its 2009 release, Electronic Arts developed console versions for the Xbox 360 and the Sony PlayStation 3. The PS3 version retains the vast majority of the features its PC counterpart has, save for the community-made mods. This includes the ability to leave your house and go into town, a feature which was absent in previous console-based "Sims" titles. If your Sim is ready to go home, you can command it to return home in a few short minutes.

     Pull the right analog stick down on your PlayStation 3 controller. This will zoom you out of the map while your Sim is in town.

     Move the left analog stick toward your Sim's house until it appears on screen. Move the cursor to any room of the house.

     Press "X" to open the menu of options.

   • 4

     Select "Go Here." Your Sim will leave the town and return home.
