How to Mute a PlayStation 3

The PlayStation 3 (PS3) combines a video game console with a Blu-ray video player. Separating the audio from the video by using individual outputsfor each allows you to control whether audio will be heard or not, regardless of what you are doing on the PS3. The procedure makes use of the menu controls built into the PS3's operating system, which are accessible to the owner. The procedure is straightforward and temporary; it can be reversed at a later time if desired.
