How Do I Change the Battery of My Mad Catz PS3 Controller?

MadCatz is a global provider of video game accessories and controllers. Wireless PlayStation 3 controllers by MadCatz come with a convenient battery compartment that is accessible without the use of any tools. The video game device requires two AA batteries. When the game controller's battery charge is low, the LED light on the controller port slowly flashes. The LED light will not flash if the video game controller is off.

  Turn the MadCatz PS3 controller onto its face. The battery compartment cover will be visible. Slide the switch at the bottom of the battery compartment to the "Off" position.

  Press on the battery compartment button at the top of the battery compartment's cover. Pull the cover away from the body of the game controller.

  Remove the old batteries. Place the new batteries into the battery compartment. Connect the battery compartment springs to the negative end of the battery. Replace the battery compartment cover.
