How to Redeem PS3 Movie Codes

With the release of the PlayStation 3 and PSP, Sony has been offering voucher codes with purchases of some game and Blu-Ray titles. For instance the "Mortal Kombat" Blu-Ray comes packaged with voucher codes for character costumes for the PlayStation 3 release of the "Mortal Kombat" video game. Similarly, the release of the PSP "Rock Band Unplugged" package comes with a special code for a free download of the Jack Black movie "School of Rock". You can redeem these codes in the PlayStation Store on your PlayStation 3.

Instructions

  Turn on the PlayStation 3 and sign in to your PlayStation Network account. The system may sign you in automatically, but if not, go to the circular PlayStation logo that opens the PlayStation Network menu. Select "Sign In." If your information is stored just push "X" to confirm, if not, enter your information or create a new account and you will be signed in.

  Open the PlayStation Store from the same PlayStation Network menu. Once the PlayStation Store has loaded, select the "Video" store from the top of the list of options on the left.

  Click on "Redeem Codes" from the top-right option. This will open the screen to where you can enter your code.

  Enter the code into the three boxes and select "Continue." The movie's details will be shown with the option to "Download."

  Download the movie and push "O" to go back to the main menu. The movie will be accessible in the Video drop-down menu.
